You can remove a user from an attestation if the attestation is still in Draft or Incomplete status. Once an attestation is completed, users cannot be removed.
Steps to remove a user from an attestation:
- Navigate to Attestations from the main navigation menu.
- Open the desired attestation you want to update using the attestations page from the left panel of the screen.
- Ensure the attestation status is Draft or Incomplete.
- Navigate to the Response sections, find the user in the list, and click the More Options (three-dot) icon on the right.
- Select the Delete option from the menu.
Important notes
- Users cannot be removed from a completed attestation.
- Removing a user does not delete the attestation itself; it only removes that user from the assignment.
- Permissions to edit attestations depend on your role (for example, Admin or Attestation Manager).
- If the attestation has already been sent, removing a user will prevent further responses from that user.
