How do I remove/delete a user from an attestation?

You can remove a user from an attestation if the attestation is still in Draft or Incomplete status. Once an attestation is completed, users cannot be removed.

Steps to remove a user from an attestation:

1. Navigate to Attestations from the main navigation menu.
2. Open the desired attestation you want to update using the attestations page from the left panel of the screen.
3. Ensure the attestation status is Draft or Incomplete.
4. Navigate to the Response sections, find the user in the list, and click the More Options (three-dot) icon on the right.
5. Select the Delete option from the menu.

Important notes

• Users cannot be removed from a completed attestation.
• Removing a user does not delete the attestation itself; it only removes that user from the assignment.
• Permissions to edit attestations depend on your role (for example, Admin or Attestation Manager).
• If the attestation has already been sent, removing a user will prevent further responses from that user.
