The Image Settings panel allows users to modify image size, cropping, transparency, rotation, text wrapping, and replacement options. These settings help users control how images appear and interact with document content.
Follow the steps below to access image settings:
- Select an image within the document.
- Open the Image Settings panel on the right side of the editor.
- Refer to the desired section and follow the instructions:
Size
The Size section allows users to review and adjust image dimensions.

| Width | Displays the current image width. |
| Height | Displays the current image height. |
| Actual Size | Restores the image to its original dimensions. |
| Fit to Margin | Resizes the image to fit within the document margins. |
Crop Image
The Crop option allows users to remove unwanted portions of an image or adjust how the image fits within a shape.
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Crop | Removes unwanted areas from the image. |
| Crop to Shape | Crops the image to fit a selected shape. |
| Fill | Fills the selected shape with the image while maintaining coverage. Portions of the image may be cropped. |
| Fit | Resizes the image to fit entirely within the selected shape. |
Steps to Crop an Image:
- Select the image.
- Open the Image Settings panel.
- Click Crop.
- Select the desired crop option.
- Adjust the crop handles as needed.

Click outside the image to apply the changes. The image is updated based on the selected crop settings.

Opacity
The Opacity option allows users to adjust image transparency.

| Percentage Value | Specify the transparency percentage manually. |
Rotation
The Rotation section allows users to rotate or flip an image.

| Rotate 90° Left | Rotates the image 90 degrees counterclockwise. |
| Rotate 90° Right | Rotates the image 90 degrees clockwise. |
| Flip Vertical | Flips the image vertically. |
| Flip Horizontal | Flips the image horizontally. |
Wrapping Style
The Wrapping Style section controls how text interacts with an image.
Option |
Description |
| Inline | Places the image within the text flow. |
| Square | Wraps text around the image boundary. |
| Tight | Wraps text closely around the image shape. |
| Through | Allows text to flow through transparent areas of the image. |
| Top and Bottom | Places text above and below the image. |
| Behind Text | Displays the image behind the document text. |
| In Front of Text | Displays the image in front of the document text. |
Replace Image
The Replace Image option allows users to substitute the current image without changing its position within the document.

| From File | Replace the image using a file stored on the device. |
| From URL | Replace the image using an image URL. |
Image Advanced Settings
Additional image configuration options are available through the Image Advanced Settings window.
- Use Fit to Margin to quickly align large images within the page layout.
- Use appropriate text wrapping styles to improve document readability.
- Reduce image opacity when using images as document backgrounds or watermarks.
- Use advanced image settings when precise positioning and layout control are required.
