The Healthicity Document Editor allows users to customize the appearance of document content by changing theme colors, background colors, and font colors. Users can modify the document color scheme using the Layout tab and apply custom colors to document elements and text using the available formatting options.
Change the Document Color Theme
The Color Theme option allows users to change the scheme colors used throughout the document. These colors can be applied to supported document elements such as shapes, charts, SmartArt objects, and other themed content.
Steps to Change the Document Color Theme:
- Open the document in the Healthicity Document Editor.
- Click the Layout tab from the top toolbar.
- Select Change Color Theme.
- Review the available theme color sets.

Select the desired color scheme. The selected color scheme is applied immediately to supported document elements.
ℹ️ NotesChanging the color scheme affects themed document elements and may not apply to content that has been manually formatted.
Change the Background Color
The Background Color option allows users to apply a highlight color to selected text. This feature can be used to emphasize important information, mark content for review, or improve document readability.
Steps to Change the Background Color
- Open the document in the Healthicity Document Editor.
- Select the text you want to highlight.
- Click the Home tab.
- Select the Background Color icon.
- Choose a color from the available color palette. The selected background color is applied behind the selected text.
Change the Font Color
The Font Color option allows users to change the color of selected text.
Steps to Change the Font Color
- Open the document in the Healthicity Document Editor.
- Select the text you want to modify.
- Click the Home tab.
- Select the Font Color icon.
- Choose a color from the available palette or select a custom color.
- Click the desired color to apply it to the selected text.

The selected text is updated with the chosen font color.
ℹ️ NotesFont color changes apply only to the selected text and do not affect the document theme or color scheme.
Custom Color
Follow the steps to add a Custom color:
- Select Eyedropper to choose a color directly from an element within the document.
- Select More Colors if the desired color is not available in the color palette.
- Use the color picker and color slider to select a custom color.
- Optionally, enter the RGB values or hexadecimal (#) color code.
- Review the selected color in the preview area.

Click Add to apply the color and save it to the Recent Colors palette for future use.
