The Date of Service (DOS) Work Queue page provides a centralized view of all DOS entries assigned to a selected audit project. It allows users to review case-level details, track audit status, and open the Audit Worksheet to complete assigned audit tasks.
The DOS Work Queue page displays individual Date of Service (DOS) entries with case and patient details, including case number, patient ID, patient name, date of service, status, comments, and available actions such as start audit or resume an audit.
Follow these steps to start working with the DOS Work Queue page:
- Navigate to the Audits
My Work Queue/QA Work Queue, or the user can directly select the View My Audits from the dashboard. The Audit Work Queue screen will be displayed.
- Select the appropriate auditee hyperlink to redirect to the desired DOS Work Queue page.

On the DOS Work Queue page, users can select the Audit Guideline and Project Guideline links to view and update guideline settings, if required and permitted.
- Audit Guidelines: Audit Guidelines define the standard structure and evaluation criteria used for audits. They provide a consistent framework for conducting routine audits. Users with the required permissions can modify the guideline settings as needed.
- Project Guidelines: Project Guidelines are derived from Audit Guidelines and allow customization to meet the requirements of a specific audit project. Users with the appropriate permissions can update the project guideline settings as required.
- The case‑level table displays all DOS entries associated with the audit. For each DOS, users can review encounter details and audit status.

From the Action field:
- Select a Not Started or In Progress status hyperlink to open the Audit Worksheet and perform or update audit work.
- Select a Completed status hyperlink to review or update completed audit details.
- After completing a DOS, the status updates to Completed.
- Repeat this process for all assigned DOS entries.

Once all DOS entries are completed, use one of the following buttons to proceed with further processing:
- Close Send to QA: Finalizes the audit and sends it to QA for review. Refer to Close Send to QA and follow the applicable steps.
- Close Send Report: Closes the audit and sends the final report when QA review is not required. Refer to Close Send Report and follow the applicable steps.
- Close Pending Report: Marks the audit as pending closure, typically when additional information or review is required. Select this option and navigate to the Key Findings and Recommendations tab to review audit findings and recommended actions.
Close Send to QA
Follow these steps to send the audit for review:
- Complete all assigned Dates of Service (DOS) before sending the audit for QA review.
- Click the Close Send to QA button. This will open the Assign QA popup.
- If a QA reviewer has already been assigned, only the Sub-Status field will be active.
- Select the desired Sub-Status from the dropdown.

Click Submit to forward the audit to QA for further processing.
Close Send Report
Follow these steps to send the Report:
- Click the Close Send Report button. This will open the Close and send Report popup.
- Select the desired Report Type from the dropdown.
- Select the desired Sub-Status from the dropdown.

Click Submit to send the selected report.
