The Reporting Engine in the Training Center allows Standard Training clients to create custom CSV reports using available training data. Access to the Reporting Engine and specific reporting features may vary based on your assigned role and permissions.
Follow these steps to start working with the Reporting Engine:
- Navigate to Training
Reports
Reporting Engine. This opens the report builder, where you define the data, filters, and output format.
Define Report Parameters. Select the report type and the data fields you want to include in your report. Choosing the correct report type is important, as it determines which data points and filters are available.

Results
Team Learning Path. Provides data at the Learning Path level, including Learning Path title and results. This report can also include course-level data, such as:
- Course title
- Due Date or Initial Compliance Due Date
- Course user results
- Team
Details
Results
Team Course. Provides data at the course level only, including:
- Course title
- Due Date or Initial Compliance Due Date
- Course user results
- Learning Path data cannot be included.
- Team
Summary
Team Reports. Provides high-level team statistics for assigned courses or learning paths, such as:
- Number of users not started
- Number of users started
- Detailed course, learning path, or user-level data is not available in this report type.

- Choose Report Fields. After selecting a report parameter type, choose the specific data fields you want to include in the report. Available fields are grouped by data category on the left (see image below).
- Common field options include:
- Team name
- User first name, last name, or username
- Learning Path or Course title
- Completion date
- Status or percent complete
- Selected fields appear on the right as highlighted boxes.
- Click a field name to add it to the report.
- Click the X next to a field to remove it.
- Drag and drop fields to reorder the report columns.
- Only fields relevant to the selected report parameter type will be available.
- When finished selecting fields, click Next to continue.
- Available Filter Options. Use filters to narrow down report results and focus on the data you need.
- Timezone: Select the timezone used for date-based fields in the report.
- Users: Choose All Users, or filter by specific users or teams.
- Courses: Choose All Courses, or select specific courses.
- Date Range: Filter by Course Assigned Date or Course Completion Date, and select a predefined or custom date range.
- Apply filters as needed to refine the report output.
- When finished, click Next to continue.
- Preview the Report.
Review a preview of your report to confirm that the correct data, fields, and filters have been applied. The preview displays only the first several rows of data. If changes are needed, click Previous to return and update fields or filters. - When satisfied with the preview, click Next to continue.
- At the top of this page, choose how you want to generate the report. There are two options for generating the report. See below.
- Download Now: Generates a one-time export that downloads directly to your computer.
- Schedule Export: Saves the report and emails a download link based on the selected schedule.
Note: Recommended if you plan to access or view the report in the future.

- Report Name: The file name used when the report is downloaded to your computer.
- Format: The export file format (CSV only).
When ready, click Download to generate the report.
- Schedule Export
- Report Name: The file name and display name in Manage Reports (My Saved/Favorite Reports).
- Format: The export file format (CSV only).
- Frequency: Run once, daily, weekly, monthly, or none.
- Email: To email the report link to other Training Center users.
- Share Report: Not available for your subscription level.
- Download Now
- When finished, click Build & Save to finalize the report.
- View Saved and Shared Reports. Once a report is saved or shared with you, it appears in the Reports dashboard, where you can view, run, edit (if permitted), or manage the report.
Note:
- To edit a report, click the Edit (pencil) icon.
- To create a copy of a report, click the Copy (paper sheets) icon.
- To delete a report, click the Delete (trash can) icon.
