The Edit Document feature allows users to update document information, revise document content, and modify document settings after a document has been created. Depending on the required changes, users can edit the existing content, upload a new version of the document, or update document details without changing the content.
Follow these steps to edit a document:
- Navigate to Documents.
- Locate the desired document.

Click the Actions menu next to the document.
- Select Document Details.

From the Document Details page, click the Actions menu and select Edit.
- The Edit Document page is displayed with the details.

The Edit Document page allows users to update document details and settings, including document metadata, categories, review schedules, ownership information, and other document-related attributes.
- After making the required updates, review the information before publishing it.

If the document content requires modification, select one of the available options.

Edit Document: Select Edit Document to revise the existing document content using the Document Editor.
- Click the Edit Document hyperlink.
- Update the document content using the Document Editor.
- Save the document and close the editor.

The updated document is returned to the Edit Document page.

New Document: Select New Document to upload a replacement document.
- Select New Document.
- Browse for or drag and drop the replacement file.
- Verify the uploaded document information. The uploaded file becomes the new version of the document.
- No Change: Select No Change when the document content does not require modification, and only document information or settings need to be updated.

Edit Document: Select Edit Document to revise the existing document content using the Document Editor.
- Review and update the required document information, including ownership, review schedules, categories, keywords, and other document settings as needed.
- After completing the required updates, click Publish Document.
