The Watermark feature allows users to add text or image watermarks to a document. Watermarks appear behind the document content and are commonly used to indicate document status, ownership, confidentiality, or distribution restrictions.
Common watermark examples include:
- Draft
- Confidential
- Internal Use Only
- Sample
- Copy
Add a Watermark
Follow the steps below to add a watermark.
- Click the Layout tab.
- Select Watermark.
- Click Custom Watermark.
- Choose either a Text Watermark or an Image Watermark.
- Configure the desired settings.
- Click OK. The watermark is added to the document.
Add a Text Watermark
A text watermark displays custom text behind the document content.
To configure a Text Watermark
- Click Layout → Watermark → Custom Watermark.
- Select Text Watermark.
- Configure the desired settings.
- Click OK. The text watermark is applied.

Add an Image Watermark
An image watermark displays an image behind the document content.
To configure an Image Watermark:
- Click Layout → Watermark → Custom Watermark.
- Select Image Watermark.
- Click Select Image.
- Choose the desired image.
- Configure the image settings.
- Click OK. The image watermark is applied.

Remove a Watermark
Follow the steps below to remove an existing watermark.
- Click the Layout tab.
- Select Watermark.
- Click Remove Watermark. The watermark is removed from the document.
