The Version History option in Document Editor lets users review previous versions of a document and track changes over time. Users can view the version date, time, editor name, and available document revisions from the Version History panel.
Follow the steps below to access the document version history:
- Open the document in the Document Editor.
- Click the File tab from the top toolbar.
- Select Version History from the left-side panel.
- Review the available document versions displayed in the Version History panel.
- The Version History panel includes the following details:
- Version Date and Time - Displays when the document version was saved.
- Editor Name - Shows the user who made the document changes.
- Version Number - Displays the saved document revision number.
- Users can access additional version history options from the menu available in the Version History panel.
- Hide Detailed Changes - Hides detailed document change tracking information.
Highlight Deleted - Highlights deleted content within the document revisions.
