The Document Info option in Document Editor allows users to view document details, review statistics, and manage properties. Users can also add or update metadata such as the author name, title, tags, subject, and comments.
Follow the steps below to access and review document information:
- Open the document in the Document Editor.
- Click the File tab from the top toolbar.
- Select Info from the left-side panel.
- Review the available document details displayed in the information panel.
- The Info page has the following sections:
Common Information
The Common section displays general document details.
- Last Modified - Displays the most recent date and time the document was updated.
- Last Modified By - Shows the user who last edited the document.
- Application - Displays the application version used for the document.
Document Statistics
The Statistics section displays document content details.
- Pages - Shows the total number of pages in the document.
- Paragraphs - Displays the number of paragraphs included in the document.
- Words - Shows the total word count.
- Characters - Displays the total number of characters without spaces.
- Characters with Spaces - Displays the total number of characters, including spaces.
Manage Document Properties
Users can add or update document metadata from the Properties section.
Steps to update Document Properties:
- Scroll to the Properties section.

Enter or update the required property details:
- Author - Specifies the name of the document creator or owner.
- Title - Displays or defines the title of the document.
- Tags - Adds keywords or labels to help categorize and search for the document.
- Subject - Defines the main topic or purpose of the document.
- Comment - Allows users to add additional notes or document-related information.

Click outside the field or save the document to apply the changes.

Add Additional Properties
Users can create additional custom properties for the document. Follow the steps to add a property:
- Navigate to the Properties section.
- Click Add Property.
- Enter the required property name and value.

Save the changes. The custom property will be added to the document information.
