This article explains the key elements of the My Workspace page for Employee Users in Compliance Manager. It highlights how employees can view and act on assigned tasks, access training, find resources, and monitor relevant updates from a centralized dashboard. The content and features shown on this page are tailored to the Employee User role and reflect only those functions for which the user has permission.
Navigation Bar
The top navigation bar displays the modules available to Employee Users. Typical navigation options include My Workspace, Documents, and Training. Access to additional modules such as Admin may appear only if the user has the required permissions. The options shown are based on the user’s role and access levels.
User Profile and Task Summary
The left panel shows the user’s profile avatar and greeting, followed by badge indicators for open tasks, unread messages, and active alerts. These indicators provide a quick view of items requiring attention. Below this, the My Tasks section presents the user’s task list, allowing employees to view and manage their assignments. Employees can use Load More to view additional tasks or select Go to My Tasks for a complete list.
Quick Action (Plus Icon)
The Plus (+) icon at the top right opens the My Workspace Actions panel. For Employee Users, this menu may provide quick access to role-specific workflows based on permissions.
Task List and Training
The main section of the My Workspace page focuses on the employee’s pending work and learning needs.
Task Table: Displays open tasks with columns for task ID, title, type, due date, and status. Users can search tasks quickly by title or type using the search field at the top of the table.
Training Tile: Located to the right of the task table, this section displays training assignments. Clicking the tile directs users to their training dashboard, where they can start or complete required training tasks.
Recent Activity and News
The right panel provides context and updates for Employee Users:
Recent Activity: Shows the user’s most recent actions, such as reviewed or approved documents. This helps employees quickly revisit recent work.
News and Updates: Displays organizational announcements, blog posts, and other compliance-related news to keep users informed of policy updates or important information.
Resources Section
Below the task list, a Resources section allows employees to access relevant documents, reference materials, or other published content. Users can search resources by title to find needed materials quickly.
