This article explains the My Workspace Actions menu in Compliance Manager. The My Workspace Actions menu provides quick access to commonly used workflows, allowing users to initiate key compliance activities directly from the My Workspace page. The actions available in this menu vary by user role and permissions.
The My Workspace Actions menu is accessed by selecting the Plus (+) icon located in the upper-right corner of the My Workspace page. Selecting this icon opens a panel that displays the actions available to the logged-in user.
The actions displayed in the My Workspace Actions menu are role-based and may include one or more of the following options:
Assign Audit: Allows authorized users to create and assign a new audit to users or locations.
Add New Contract: Enables users to initiate a new contract record for third-party or internal agreements.
Assign Risk Assessment: Allows users to assign a standard risk assessment to applicable users or teams.
HIPAA Risk Assessment: Launches a HIPAA-specific risk assessment workflow for compliance review.
Assign Training: Allows managers or administrators to assign training modules to employees.
Send Attestation: Enables users to send attestations to individuals or groups for acknowledgment or completion.
Contact Administrator (Employee Users only): Allows Employee Users to contact their system administrator for assistance, questions, or support related to Compliance Manager.
Role-Based Behavior
The My Workspace Actions menu is dynamically tailored based on the user’s role:
Admins and Managers typically see multiple workflow actions related to audits, risk assessments, training, and attestations.
Employee Users have limited access and typically see only the Contact Administrator option.
