Send a HIPAA Risk Assessment to the HIPAA Workplan

This article describes how to send a completed HIPAA Risk Assessment to the HIPAA Workplan from the Risk Assessments Queue. Sending an assessment to the Workplan allows identified risks to be tracked, managed, and remediated through documented action items.

Follow these steps to send a Risk Assessment to the Workplan:

1. Navigate to My Workspace HIPAA Risk Assessments. The Risk Assessments Queue page will be displayed by default.
2. Use the Filters panel to locate the appropriate risk assessment.
3. Select the checkbox next to the completed risk assessment you want to send to the Workplan.
4. Click the More options menu (three dots) above the list.
5. Select Send to Workplan. The user can also choose the Send to Workplan option from the completed risk assessment details page.

6. Confirm the action when prompted. The risk assessment status updates to Sent to Workplan.

   ℹ️ Notes

   • Only completed HIPAA Risk Assessments can be sent to the HIPAA Workplan.
   • Once sent, identified risks and follow-up actions become available within the HIPAA Workplan module.
   • The assigned responsible user manages the associated Workplan actions.
