The Search and Replace feature allows users to quickly locate specific words, phrases, or content within a document and optionally replace them with new text. This feature is useful when reviewing, updating, or correcting content across large documents.
Search for Content
Use the Search feature to locate text within a document.
To Search for Text:
- Open the document.
- Press Ctrl + F or click the Search option.
- Enter the word or phrase to locate.
- Matching results are highlighted within the document.

| Next Result | Navigate to the next match. |
Find and Replace Content
Use the Find and Replace feature to replace existing text with new content.
To Replace Text:
- Open the document.
- Press Ctrl + H.
- Enter the text to find.
- Enter the replacement text.
- Choose the desired replacement option.
- The selected text is replaced with the new content.
Option | Description |
| Find What | Specify the text to locate. |
| Replace With | Specify the replacement text. |
| Replace | Replace the current occurrence. |
| Replace All | Replace all matching occurrences within the document. |
| Case Sensitive | Search only for text that matches the exact letter casing entered. |
| Whole Words Only | Search only for complete words and ignore partial word matches. |
Navigate Search Results
After performing a search, users can move between matching results.
To Navigate Results:
- Perform a search.
- Use the Previous and Next options to move between matches.
- The editor automatically highlights the current result.
ℹ️ Notes
Use Replace All carefully, as all matching occurrences are updated at once.
