The Clipboard and Editing Actions features allow users to copy, cut, paste, and reuse content while maintaining consistent formatting throughout a document. These tools help users move content, apply formatting with Copy Style, manage pasted content with Paste Special, and quickly undo or redo edits.
Copy and Cut Content
Use the Copy and Cut commands to place selected content on the clipboard for reuse or relocation.
Copy Content
- Select the desired text, image, table, or object.
- Press Ctrl + C or right-click and select Copy.
- The selected content is copied to the clipboard.
Cut Content
- Select the desired text, image, table, or object.
- Press Ctrl + X or right-click and select Cut.
- The selected content is removed from its current location and stored on the clipboard.
Copy Formatting (Copy Style)
The Copy Style feature allows users to copy formatting from one piece of content and apply it to another without copying the content itself.
Users can copy formatting such as:
- Font type
- Font size
- Font color
- Bold, Italic, and Underline formatting
- Paragraph formatting
- Other supported text formatting attributes
To Copy Formatting:
- Select the text that contains the formatting you want to reuse.
- Click Copy Style.
- Select the text where the formatting should be applied.

The selected formatting is applied to the new content.
ℹ️ NotesCopy Style transfers formatting only and does not copy the underlying content.
Paste Content
Use the Paste command to insert copied or cut content into a document.
To Paste Content:
- Place the cursor where the content should be inserted.
- Press Ctrl + V or right-click and select Paste.
- The clipboard content is inserted at the selected location.
Use Paste Special
After content is pasted, the Paste Special button appears next to the pasted content, allowing users to control how it is inserted into the document.
Paste Text Content
When pasting text or text within shapes, the following options are available:

Paste Content into a Table
When pasting content into an existing table, additional options may be available.

Undo and Redo Actions
The Undo and Redo commands help users quickly reverse or restore document changes.
- Undo (Ctrl + Z) reverses the most recent action.
- Redo (Ctrl + Y) restores the most recently undone action.
These commands can be used to reverse text edits, formatting changes, object modifications, and other document actions.
