If your organization has purchased premium reporting, you may also be able to access those report directly from the Tableau Server login page. This article will discuss accessing your reports from Tableau Server.

Navigating to, and logging into Tableau Server
Step 1.
Navigate to the Tableau Server login page. You will be provided with a URL to access this page.
Step 2.
Enter the credentials that were provided to you by the Healthicity representative and click Sign In.
Navigating within Tableau Server
After logging in, you will be presented with the tableau Home page below. You will see a left-hand navigation panel with multiple options. We recommend exploring these options to familiarize yourself with the system. To get back to the home page, just click Home from anywhere within the system.
Note: If the page navigation panel is collapsed, it will look like the below image. You can expand the left-hand navigation by clicking the arrow icon at the top of the side panel.
Accessing and navigating a dashboard
On the Tableau Server Home page, you will see a selection of Dashboards. These are the individual reports that have been created for your account. Click the See All option to view all available dashboard reports.
Step 1.
Select a dashboard to view.
Step 2.
Select control filters. Most dashboards will have filter control options, to narrow the data being displayed. Use these control filters, to select the dataset you are looking to report on.
Note: Setting the control filters on the dashboards, will update all workbook tabs (highlighted in yellow) within the dashboard.
Downloading Reports
Step 1.
From the dashboard you selected, and with the control filters set, select the Download icon in the control bar (dark blue bar) at the top of the dashboard.
Step 2.
Select the download format and follow the prompts to complete this process.
Available Options: Image, PDF, Crosstab (Excel or CSV), or Powerpoint. See more below.
- Image: Creates a screenshot of the tab you are viewing. Dashboard controls are not included in the screenshot.
- Data: Prints the data behind the dashboard in a simple grid table. May not be available across all dashboards and workbooks

Crosstab: Exports data to Excel or CSV file, based on your selection in the popup box.

PDF: Will create a PDF file, based on the selections made in the popup box.

PowerPoint: Creates a presentation slide deck, based on the selected view in the popup box.
