How do I move a DOS/encounter?

From time to time, it may be necessary to move one or more DOS/encounters from one provider to another within a project, or from one project to another altogether. Only Super Users and Admin Users can move DOS/encounters.

The steps to accomplish this task differ, depending on the type of Audit Manager account you have. See the steps below on how this can be done.

Audit Manager Professional Accounts

Note: There needs to be an active DOS/encounter for the same provider in the project you are moving the DOS into. You may need to add a blank DOS/encounter for the same provider in the project you want to move the DOS to, and then delete that blank encounter, once the move has been made.

1. Click 'Audit' in the blue menu.
2. Click 'Audit Management' in the secondary menu.
3. Click the project name on the left, that contains the DOS/encounters you want to move.
   Pro-tip: If you do not see the project name, flip the "View Active Projects/View All" switch at the top left of the list to also view inactive projects.
4. Click the provider name in blue where the DOS/encounters are assigned
5. Check off the DOS/encounters to the left that you want to affect.
6. Click the 'Select' drop-down option, above and to the right of the list.
7. Select 'Move Date of Service'.
8. Click 'Submit' to the right.
9. In the pop-up box, select the first drop-down to choose the project you are moving these DOS into.
10. In the second drop-down, select the provider name that exists within the project
11. Click 'Submit'.

3. Click the provider name in blue, that contains the DOS/encounters you want to move.
   Pro-tip: If you do not see the provider name, use the search bar above and to the right, to search for them.
4. Check off the DOS/encounters to the left that you want to affect.
5. Click the 'Select' drop-down option, above and to the right of the list.
6. Select 'Move Date of Service'.
7. Click 'Submit' to the right.
8. In the pop-up box, select the first drop-down to choose the project you are moving these DOS into.
9. In the second drop-down, select the provider name that exists within the project.
10. Click 'Submit'.
