This article explains the steps required to assign a risk rating within the Risk Assessments module. Users will learn how to evaluate a risk, select the appropriate rating based on impact and likelihood, and save the assessment for further review.
Follow these steps to assign a Risk Assessment Rating:
Navigate to the My Workspace
Risk Assessments. The All Risk Assessments queue page is displayed by default.
Select the risk assessment where you want to add a rating. You can quickly find it using the search bar or filter panel.
From the Risk Assessment Detail page, scroll down to the Rating section and click Add icon.
From the Risk Assessments matrix, determine the risk rating by clicking the number at the point where the selected Severity and Probability values intersect.
💡 Workflow Tip- Use the Risk Rating Key Terms in the top-right corner of the matrix window for guidance when assigning a rating.
- Risk ratings can be adjusted at any time by increasing or decreasing the rating number based on your findings or ongoing investigation.
Enter the desired Risk Rating Description.
Choose the created date from the field.
Click Save to add the created rating.
