Each service line includes detailed information for an individual diagnosis, such as the Date of Service (DOS), Local Processing Code (LPC), modifier details, charges, and place of service. Users can add multiple service lines to maintain a record of each diagnosis, associated procedures, and services provided, ensuring accurate tracking and billing for every treatment episode.
When adding a new service line, the system auto-populates key fields to improve efficiency. If the first service line contains a Date of Service (DOS) and Place of Service (POS), those values are copied into each new service line group. Fee Schedule and RVU amounts are also automatically filled based on the assigned Fee Schedule. Line-specific fields such as Procedure Code, Modifier, Units, ICD-10-CM Points, Billed, and Paid remain blank for manual entry.
Note: The Audit Worksheet populates RVU and Charged/Allowed values based on payer and date of service (DOS). It uses the Audited Payer first, then the Reported Payer, and defaults to the National CMS Fee Schedule if no valid payer is available. DOS is determined using fields in priority order, from Line From DOS to Discharge Date. If no valid DOS is found, values remain blank.
