This article explains how to review and complete a Document Review and Approval Task within the system. This process ensures that documents are accurately reviewed, approved, and finalized before being published or shared with other users.
A Document Review and Approval Task allows designated users to review, comment on, and approve documents that require validation. This ensures content accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal standards before final release.
When a document review or approval task is assigned, Compliance Manager sends an email notification to the responsible person with a direct link to the task. The task can also be accessed through the user’s in-app task list.
Accessing the Task
- Navigate to the Profile icon and select My Tasks.
- Locate the Document Review and Approval Task assigned to you.
- Click the task name to open the task page.
Once accessed, you’ll be taken to your designated section of the document task page (such as Review, Approve, or Publish).
From the document review and approval task page, you can:
- Open the in-app editor by clicking on the document title.
- View other participants involved in the review and approval process by expanding the relevant sections.
- Review document details and version history by expanding or collapsing the related sections.
- Collaborate and communicate with other reviewers or the document owner using Status Updates.
