This article guides users on managing incident Supporting Documents. These documents, such as images, interview notes, and corrective action files, help capture key details of a reported incident. They are displayed in a list view for detailed file information and a grid view with visual thumbnail cards for quick preview and easy access.
Navigate to the desired section to act:
- Upload Documents
- Download Associated Documents
- Preview Document
- Edit Document Details
- Delete Associated Documents
Upload Documents
Follow these steps to upload Supporting Documents:
- Navigate to the Incidents Queue page and select the desired incident to which you want to add supporting documents.
- An Incident Details page will be displayed.
- Select Supporting Documents from the Summary section or scroll down to the Supporting Documents area.
- Hover over the more options icon located to the right of the section header, then select Add. The Add Supporting Document window will appear.
- Drag and drop the desired file into the upload area or click Browse to select it from your device. You can also choose from the Document Center.
- The added document will appear on the screen.
- You can easily switch between List View for detailed file information and Grid View for visual thumbnail previews, as required.
- You can upload multiple files at the same time.
- Use the Edit icon to rename a file, if needed.
- Use the Delete icon to remove a file from the list, if needed.
7. You can also provide the following optional details, if needed:
- Describe the Process for How the Document Was Collected
- Document Was Searched For By
- Location Searched
- Document Belongs To
- Add Note
8. Once finalized, click Save to Supporting Documents to upload the files.
Download Associated Documents
Follow these steps to download an associated document:
- To download all the Supporting Documents, hover over the more options icon located at the right of the section header, then select Download All.
- To download an individual Document, hover over the more options icon located to the right of the uploaded document area, then select Download.
- You can access the downloaded files in the Download Center.
Preview Document
Follow these steps to Preview the Document:
- Click on the desired thumbnail card or select Preview from the more options icon to open the Preview window.
Edit Document Details
Follow these steps to Edit Document Details:
- Hover over the more options icon located at the right of the uploaded document area, then select Edit Document Details. An Edit Supporting Document window will appear.
- Update the desired information and click Save Supporting Document to apply the changes.
Delete Associated Documents
Follow these steps to Delete an Associated Document:
- To delete all the Supporting Documents, hover over the more options icon located at the right of the section header, then select Delete All.
- A confirmation message will appear; select Yes, Delete to apply the changes.
- To delete an individual Document, hover over the more options icon located at the right of the uploaded document area, then select Remove.
- Select Yes, Delete on the confirmation message to remove the file.
