December 2024 

• Enhanced Security: Audit Manager now supports Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), providing an additional layer of protection for user accounts and ensuring secure access to sensitive audit data. 
• Code Descriptions by Effective Date: The Audit Box displays code descriptions aligned with the applicable date of service. 
• Core Checklists: Checklists can be marked as core with limited editing to maintain standardization. 
• Comment Visibility: View comments on data requests for better collaboration. 
• Project Reassignment: Change assigned projects directly from the Audit Work Queue.
• Checklist Validation: Updated requirements and validation rules ensure accuracy when adding or editing checklists.

Audit Manager: Facility and Dental Auditing

• The new product, formerly known as Audit Manager Facility, has been renamed Audit Manager+ to reflect its expanded auditing scope, additional features, and enhancements.

Data Request: Status Displayed on List Page

• The Data Request list page now displays the status of each request, offering users an at-a-glance view of progress for easier tracking and management.

Bulk Import and Import Claims: Enhanced with Practice

• The bulk import for Audit Manager+ now includes the auditee's practice.
• Users can now select claims for audit based on the auditee's practice.
• Corrections and enhancements have been applied to the bulk import file.

Audit Box: Summary Section

• The summary section has been reorganized to align with the workflow in the Results section.
• When a checklist is assigned to a Chart or Audit, it now automatically opens in the summary section, allowing users to respond immediately without extra navigation.
• A new chart has been added to display possible points, score, and overall accuracy rate.

Audit Box: Displaying Points

• A new column has been added to display the number of possible points for each data element.
• This column appears just before the Score column, which shows the number of errors in the row.

Metrics: Retaining Filters

• The list page has been enhanced to retain search filters until manually reset by the user, making it easier to edit multiple metrics in succession.

Checklists: Selecting Responses

• The Element Type has been enhanced to provide clearer descriptions, making selections more intuitive.
• The Element Type has been enhanced to more clearly identify what is being selected.

Reporting & Analytics: Expanded to Counseling Clients

• Audit Manager+ now supports both Enterprise and Consulting clients, offering access to both standard and custom Tableau reports.

• Audit Manage Projects:
  • • Add Multiple Auditees: The feature now allows assigning multiple auditees to a single project, streamlining audit management and enhancing collaboration and efficiency across projects.
• Manage Files Assign Audit:
  • • Multiple Auditee Locations Assignment: The Assign Audit feature in the Manage Files section now supports assigning multiple auditee locations to a single audit.
• Audit Box Enhancements:
  • • Edit Score and Category: Users can now edit both the score and category directly in the Audit Box Results section, offering greater flexibility to adjust and ensure the accuracy of audit evaluations.
• My Work Queue and QA Work Queue:
  • • Display Number of Entries: The My Work Queue and QA Work Queue sections now display the total number of entries, providing users with a clear view of how many audits or tasks are in their queue.
• Data Request Enhancement:
  • • View Appended Files: Users can now view all appended files associated with a Data Request. This new feature allows for easy access to, and review of all documents attached to a request.
    • Export to Excel and Run Report Functionality: Users can now export Data Request information directly to Excel for easier analysis and reporting. Additionally, a new Run Report feature allows for generating detailed reports, improving visibility and documentation of the request process.
    • Open Request Count Display: The system now displays the total number of open Data Requests, giving users a clear view of pending requests.

• Metrics List Page Enhancements
  • • Expanded Information Display: The Metrics list page now shows Data Element, Effective Date, and the Assigned Checklist directly within the list view. This update provides immediate access to essential details, improving usability and efficiency when reviewing metrics.
    • Run Report Functionality: A new "Run Report" option has been added, allowing user to export the metrics list along with all details available in the grid. This enhancement simplifies data analysis and reporting.
• Claims Connects Supports Facility and Dental Claims
  • • Facility (including coders) and dental claim data can now be included in data sent to Audit Manager+. We have a new flat file that includes professional, facility or dental claims data.  Contact your Account Manager if you would like to update your file.
• New Facility and Dental
  • • AHA Standard Facility Data Elements: Claims Connect now supports all AHA standard facility data elements, including ICD-10-PCS, DRG, MCC, CC, ROI, SOI, Type of Bill, Condition Codes, Occurrence Codes, Value Codes, and more. This enhancement ensures comprehensive handling of facility-related claims, improving accuracy and data completeness.
    • Support for ADA Dental Data Elements: Audit Manager now accepts all ADA dental data elements, including Oral Cavity, Tooth Number, and Tooth Surface. This enhancement allows for more comprehensive audits of dental claims, ensuring that all relevant data is accurately captured and evaluated.
    • Code Descriptions Display: The Audit Box now displays detailed descriptions for reported codes, offering users clearer context and more in-depth information during the audit process. This improvement helps to ensure accuracy and understanding when reviewing reported codes.

• Bulk Import Enhancements:
  • • Expanded Professional Fields: The bulk import function now includes additional professional ICD-10 fields for more detailed data entry.
    • Enhanced ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS Support: We've further expanded the bulk import capabilities to better support ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes, enhancing the accuracy and depth of imported data.
    • Addition of SOI (Severity of Illness): The new SOI Indicator field has been added to the Admitting, Principal, and Other ICD-10-CM groupings, providing enhanced insights during audits.

These improvements have been integrated into the Audit Manager to optimize data import experience.

• Data Elements Toggle Switch: On the Audit Guidelines Data Elements tab a new toggle switch has been introduced to hide unselected data elements, giving user a clear and more focused data element view during the import process.
• Checklist Enhancements:
  • • Instructions: Added the ability to include instructions within checklists, providing clear guidance for users as they complete each step.
    • Dividers: Introduced dividers to organize checklist sections, making it easier to navigate and distinguish between different parts of the checklist.
    • Warning Messages: Implemented warning messages within checklists to alert users of critical actions or potential issues, ensuring that important steps are not overlooked.
    • Increased Character Limit: The character limit for Audit Elements has been expanded to 2,000 characters. This enhancement accommodates the detailed requirements of the E/M grid, allowing for more comprehensive data entry and documentation.
• Audit Box Enhancements:
  • • Enhanced Chart Results and Audit Results Sections: The Chart Results and Audit Results sections now display a question mark icon when a checklist is required to be completed at the Chart or Audit level, ensuring that all necessary steps are clearly indicated.
    • Streamlined Data Element Management: The plus and copy icons have been removed for all data elements, except for those fields that may have multiple values (diagnosis codes, condition codes) in the header section, reducing clutter and focusing on essential actions.
    • Companion Fields Restriction: Users can no longer add companion fields separately from the primary fields, ensuring that related data elements are managed consistently and reducing the risk of errors. Companion fields are automatically added when the primary field is added.  For example, if the user adds a diagnosis code to a facility claim the POA, Comorbid, ROI and SOI fields are also added.
    • Display of New Checklist Options: The Audit Box has been enhanced to include and display new checklist options that allow the user to enter additional information necessarily needed for the audit, offering greater flexibility and customization in your audit processes. This options are now readily accessible, allowing users to tailor their checklists to specific audit requirements.
    • Date Entry: The Audit Box has been updated to allow users to enter rather than select a date.  Audit Manager+ requires that dates to be manually entered in mm/dd/yyyy. This enhancement allows users to choose the most efficient way to enter dates.
• Audit Manager+ Auditor/Reviewer Work Queue Widgets:
  • • The Professional Dashboard can be successfully copied to the new. This enhancement ensures that the robust features of the Professional Dashboard are now available within the Audit Manger+ product to streamlining workflows and improving efficiency for auditors and managers.
• Audit Box Results Section Enhancements:
  • • Auto Save Feature: The Results section in the Audit Box now includes an auto-save function, ensuring that all entries are automatically saved as user work, it's reducing the risk of data loss and improving the efficiency.
    • Auto Mark Checklists: Checklists in the Results section will now be automatically marked upon completion, or using double click mark it as a completed will streamlining the audit process and improving efficiency.
    • Efficient Checklist Completion: A new "Mark All Other N/A" feature has been added, allowing users to quickly mark all non-required checklist options as "N/A." This streamlines the checklist process, enabling users to move efficiently to the next step.
